Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Pharmacometrician to join our accomplished team and contribute to our mission of advancing drug development through quantitative pharmacology and modeling. As an Associate Pharmacometrician at Momentum Metrix, you will be an essential part of our drug development efforts, utilizing your quantitative skills to support pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation activities. You will collaborate with experienced pharmacometricians and cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop models, and generate insights that guide critical decisions in drug development.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior pharmacometricians to assist in the design, implementation, and execution of pharmacometric modeling and simulation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models to predict drug behavior, dosing regimens, and response variability across different patient populations.
- Perform data analysis, utilizing modeling software such as NONMEM®, R, or other relevant tools, to generate insights from clinical and preclinical data.
- Assist in generating well-documented reports and presentations that communicate modeling results and their implications to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, and statistical teams, to integrate pharmacometric insights into trial designs and regulatory submissions.
- Participate in model validation and quality control efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of modeling results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacometric methodologies and tools, applying new techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of modeling activities.
Qualifications:
- PharmD, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree in Pharmacometrics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong interest and foundational knowledge in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic concepts.
- Familiarity with modeling software such as NONMEM®, R, or other relevant tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to staying updated on advancements in pharmacometric methodologies.
