Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Pharmacometrician to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of advancing drug development through cutting-edge pharmacometric modeling and simulation. As a Senior Pharmacometrician at Momentum Metrix, you will play a pivotal role in driving our drug development programs forward by leveraging your expertise in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, applying your deep understanding of quantitative pharmacology to inform dosing strategies, optimize trial designs, and enhance regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced pharmacometric modeling and simulation strategies to support drug development programs.
- Apply expertise in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics to predict drug behavior, dosing regimens, and potential interactions in various patient populations.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, regulatory, and statistical teams to design and execute complex modeling analyses and simulations that inform decision-making.
- Provide hands-on modeling expertise using software such as NONMEM®, R, or other relevant tools, ensuring high-quality data analysis and interpretation.
- Develop and validate quantitative models to predict drug efficacy, safety, and response variability, contributing to robust trial designs and personalized medicine approaches.
- Contribute to regulatory submissions by generating well-documented modeling reports and supporting documents, demonstrating the scientific rigor of the analyses.
- Mentor and guide junior pharmacometricians, fostering professional growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in pharmacometric methodologies, staying ahead of industry trends and applying innovative techniques to enhance drug development strategies.
Qualifications:
- PharmD, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree in Pharmacometrics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in modeling software such as NONMEM®, R, or other relevant tools.
- Proven track record of successfully contributing to drug development programs, including regulatory interactions and submissions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex pharmacometric data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and collaboration capabilities, with the desire to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Innovative mindset, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmacometric methodologies and their application.
