Precision dosing is a personalized medicine approach that uses patient-specific data, such as genetics, clinical factors, and biomarkers, to optimize drug dosing. The goal of precision dosing is to achieve the desired therapeutic effect while minimizing the risk of adverse drug reactions.

Precision dosing involves the use of mathematical models to predict the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of a drug in an individual patient.
