Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Associate Director of Business Development with a proven biopharma contract research background, particularly with experience supporting pharmacometrics groups, to join our leadership team and drive our business growth to new heights. As an Associate Director of Business Development at Momentum Metrix, you will lead our strategic initiatives to expand partnerships, collaborations, and client relationships. Your extensive experience and network within the biopharmaceutical industry will be instrumental in shaping our business development strategy and achieving ambitious growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to expand our presence and client partnerships.
- Leverage your industry knowledge and network to identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with our strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand our capabilities, services, and value proposition, translating them into compelling proposals and pitches for clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including biopharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, regulatory agencies, and other industry consultants.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both parties.
- Drive the entire business development lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract closure and relationship management.
- Attend and represent Momentum Metrix at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals and facilitate seamless project transitions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven track record (3+ years) in business development within the biopharmaceutical contract research industry. Experience working with pharmacometrics or clinical pharmacology groups is a plus.
- Well-established network and relationships within the CRO landscape, including a proven history of building partnerships and collaborations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with high-level decision-makers.
- Strategic mindset and demonstrated ability to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and close complex business opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
- Ability to travel as needed to attend conferences, meet with clients, and facilitate partnerships.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, email, and business software and tools.
