Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a background working with a Pharmacometric group to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving drug development projects to successful outcomes. As a Project Manager at Momentum Metrix, you will coordinate pharmacometric projects between our team and clients. Your unique expertise will ensure efficient execution, alignment with regulatory requirements, and effective communication across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacometric projects from inception to completion, ensuring project milestones, timelines, and objectives are met.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacometricians, clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory experts to develop project plans that align with pharmacometric modeling and simulation goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate communication between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, leveraging your experience in project management to enhance project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Familiarity with pharmacometric, clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, data managements, and regulatory groups is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Experience using R is a plus.
